At Forbush Baptist Church, we believe that music is a vital
expression of worship in the life of every believer. We
invite you to join us as we praise and serve the Lord
together.
10:00am Worship
Our blended worship service features classic, congregational hymns
and Adult Choir led by our music director Maclyn Powell.
Occasionally, there are also solos, ensembles and other special
music selections.

Get Involved!
There are a number of ways for you and your family to get
involved in the music & worship ministry at Forbush Baptist.
Adult Choir
The Adult Choir assists in leading congregational worship and
providing special choral selections each week. The Adult Choir
is open to youth and adults of all abilities and practices on
Wednesday nights in the choir room. On the first Wednesday
night of the month, practice is held at 7:45 pm, and practice is
held at 6:15 pm on all other Wednesday nights.

Children's Choir
The Children's Choir practices during our 9:00 Sunday School
time, and often provides special music during our 10:00 am Worship
Service. All children are invited to participate!

Audio/Visual Team
The Audio/Visual Ministry delivers critical support for
all worship and Music Ministry activities. Their ministry is
to ensure audio/visual needs for events are supported while
minimizing distractions so that the focus remains on
worship. Audio responsibilities include ensuring that all audio equipment
is maintained and ready for use. They set up audio
equipment, provide sound reinforcement with mics and
monitors for speakers and musicians, record worship services
and play accompaniment tracks to support musicians during
worship services, weddings, funerals and other special
events. Visual responsibilities include using visual presentation software to
provide complimenting visuals for worship, music and other
events. They project scripture passages, song lyrics,
videos, and other visuals to enhance our services.
