				| How to Become a Christian |
				| Admit You are a Sinner
Romans 3:10, 23 - "...There is none righteous, no, not
one...for all have sinned and fall short of the glory
of God." We have all sinned and fall
short of God's standards. We sin when we disobey God's standards
of holiness revealed to us in God's Word (the Bible). Besides
this, the Bible teaches that we are born as sinners. Romans 5:12
says, "Therefore, just as through one man sin entered the
world, and death through sin, and thus death spread to all men,
because all sinned." 1 Corinthians 15:21-22 says, "For
since by man came death, by Man also came the resurrection of
the dead. For as in Adam all die..." We inherit our sin
nature from the first man, Adam. Because of Adam's original sin,
				we all are born sinners.

Realize There is a Penalty for Sin
Romans 6:23 - "For the wages of sin is death..."
The Bible teaches that we are dead in and in
bondage to sin. Because God is holy, sin cannot enter His
presence. Sin seperates us from God. Isaiah 59:2 says, "But
your iniquities have separated you from your God; And your sins
have hidden His face from you, So that He will not hear."
We are hopelessly lost with no hope and enslaved to sin (John
8:34). Because of our sin, there is a penalty that must be paid.
That penalty is physical and spiritual death. We all die
physically due because of our sin. In addition, we die
spiritually in that we are eternally separated from God and
destined to spend eternity in a place called Hell.

 Believe Jesus Christ is God's
Son & He Died on the Cross for You
				Romans 5:8 - "But God
demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still
				sinners, Christ died for us."
 The Bible
says God loves us so much that He sent His only Son Jesus Christ
to earth to die on the cross for our sins. Jesus' sacrifice made
it possible for us to be redeemed (bought back) from the bondage
and penalty of sin. Jesus paid the ransom for our sin so we can
be set free from sin's penalty and reconciled (restored to good
standing) with God. The Son of God bore the sins of the entire
world...past, present and future on Himself on the cross (Isaiah
				53:6; 2 Corinthians 5:21).

Repent from Your Sins and Receive
Jesus Christ as Savior & Lord
Romans 10:9-10 - "that if you confess
with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that
God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with
the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth
				confession is made unto salvation."
 In
John 14:6 Jesus says, "...I am the way, the truth, and the
life. No one comes to the Father except through Me."
The Bible says that Jesus is the only way to salvation and
				forgiveness. Romans
6:23 says, "For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of
God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord." Salvation is
a free gift that we must receive by faith (Ephesians 2:8-9). We
must repent (turn away) from our sins and turn to Jesus Christ
for salvation. We must receive Him by faith as our Savior and commit our lives to follow Him
				as Lord (Matthew
				16:24).

 1 John 1:9
-"If we confess our sins, He is
faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from
all unrighteousness." No matter how far
you think you have gone, you can never go too far from God's love
and forgiveness. If you confess your sins, turn away from your
sin and receive Jesus Christ as your Savior, He will
forgive you. God loves you and demonstrated His love for you
through His Son Jesus Christ on the cross. He wants to have a
personal, saving relationship with you. However, the choice is
yours. You must choose to receive His free gift of salvation.
